The Name of the Rose is - "Mystical Rose"! Feast Day: 13th July.

The seer, Pierina, interpreted the words Mystical Rose as follows: "Mary is the master teacher of the innermost,
mystical life and the Mother of the mystical body of Christ; in other words: She is the Mother of the Church."

I thought this was just the name of a local Filipino movie ("Rosa Mystica", not THAT classic European film based on the novel by
Umberto Eco starring Sean Connery and introducing the then 15-year-old Christian Slater!), but it seems that a venerated image actually exists!

ANECDOTE: Believe it or not, but it seems that I myself had experienced something 'mystical' before the exhibit organizers momentarily left this
photographer alone to cover the exhibit ... I first pointed out to them that the sign identifying the said image was lying down (instead of upright) and
therefore was not immediately visible to the viewer. Carlo - who was in charge of the flower arrangements - answered that it was the specific instruction
(for whatever reason) of the person who lent the image for the exhibit. Anyway, once alone the bunch of roses decorating the said image suddenly kept on
FALLING - at least 3 times! - the last incident as witnessed by those who came back just in time. Was this venerated image trying to TELL us something? :-o
