From late spring into the fall - most days start this way along the California Coast - marine overcast (some call it fog) - giving way to sunshine - or sometimes not. Here is the beach at Pescadero with the early pools of sunlight piercing through the grey. The small town of Pescadero sits about 2 km inland. Be sure to try a bowl of the fresh green chili soup at Duarte's Restaurant and to grab a fresh loaf of the artichoke garlic bread at the market.
