Great photos, Deems. Thank you for the armchair trip....I've hiked small portions of the Rim...now I've seen more, thanks to you. For those hoping to avoid the infamous Hot Hat Creek Rim, I recomend (under 'normal' conditions) April and May or late September or October. If hiking in the spring, be sure to contact Georgi (FireFly) first, to be sure that both water caches (22 and 44) are stocked.
