The Buick 401 "Nail Head" Ready To Go In The Blue 55 Chevy

After I had the red 55 Chevy a while, I bought a 1964 Buick Wildcat Convertible from a junk yard. It had the 401 and Turbo 400 you see here.
I drove the Buick around until somebody shot all the windows out during deer hunting season. The body, interior and top were not that great, so I just took the engine and transmission for the red 55.
Like most Wisconsin cars, the red 55 was a bit rusty in the floor and trunk area. After I bought the blue 55 4-door, which had a very solid body, but an in-line 6 cylinder motor and 3-speed, and after I completed the paint and body work, I removed the engine and transmission from red 55 and put it in the blue 55....Oh, and the stock 55-56-57 rear ends did not hold up to well with that buick running gear, so I finally installed a 57 Pontiac rear, after that, no more troubles.
