Although Zimbabwe has undergone colossal change and heartbreaking, wholesale destruction of its infrastructure the memories I have are warm and friendly particularly from Chimanimani in the Eastern Highlands. The open innocent friendship of the towns folk is something I shall never forget as is the magic of swimming in the splash pool at the foot of this delightful bounced cascade tumbling over a myriad of tiny jutting ledges giving meaning to its name.
