I took a drive this morning up to Hyde Park, NY, to visit the Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site. I wanted to play around with my new lens, and the Vanderbilt site provides lots of potential photo subjects. The cool air and overcast skies kept people away, which made for a fairly tranquil experience.
