Yellow Magnolia.

Playing with the 100mm f/2.8 Canon macro again..
I have this yellow magnolia in my front garden and it is magnificent this year. Because I live close to the ocean it is always windy so it is easier to bring one inside to photograph.

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro
1/2s f/22.0 at 100.0mm iso100 full exif

So unusual to see f22 used for flowers, but with the black background it works really well - lovely, rich detail in both flower and leaves
