I know this view well from a visit a few years ago but also as it is often seen in books, magazines, on the TV etc. etc. However I don't think I've seen it look as good as this...I like how there's no clutter of boats in the foreground, and the blurred towers briefly coming into focus before fading away again

A projection on a simple piece of cloth of an old sci-fi movie!

This, to me, is your city, where I first found your irreplaceable take on life. From the looks of all the cranes, Shanghai is moving forward without you, but you present it to us in a dream like, nostalgic form.

Are you back in Shanghai!!! :O
about this format of photography.
Looks like early in the XX century.
Just imagine back then, they had dreams of futuristic cities.
I said it before in one of your photos.
-Metropolis-
(a futuristic view from the past)

I can imagine, Shanghai have loads of material for this topic.
UFO shaped buildings... and things like that.

Take care Kal
