Fill er up???

Are you kidding me?
I had switched my buying habits.
I was buying it half a tank at a time.
Well this time I just let it go.
I learned something interesting.
The pump stopped at $75.
Not because my tank was full.
It had stopped because that
was all that was authorized
with a single purchase.
I had to insert my credit card
again in order to complete filling up.
I am paying way more than my truck
payment for the gas to get around.
Something is just wrong with that.

Terrific, and very timely, shot. . . .

Very good illustration. I was wondering the other day if I could make it with 99 euros, that is a common limit around here.

As long as people zip at 90 along the interstate and race up La Veta Pass I have to conclude that gas is still cheap... Eventually you're looking at an effective behavior modification tool. Not yet.

All down the drains.... but somebody's making lot of money

... same in England... only we use ten pound notes

Yep David, you did fine giving a visual image to all our woes. I own a truck also and feel the sharp end of a "Sandy" Rod up the ole wazoo every time I fill up. What's that says... Got Screwed and never Kissed! (V)
