The Duduk of Armenia is easily recognized by its typical warm and deep sound. Versions of this instrument travelled up to China resulting in analogue instruments called "Guanzi" and "Bili". Not shown on this picture is the binding of the mouthpiece which can help to adjust the tuning of the Duduk.

Die Armenische Duduk ist ein Instrument, das man bereits durch seinen typischen Klang aus vielen Fimlmusiken kennt. Auf dem Bild fehlt noch der Stimmring um das Mundstück, mit dem sich die Intonation anpassen läßt. Die Duduk ist nicht leicht zu spielen, da man einen sehr starken Luftdruck zum Anblasen braucht.
