We drove to Peggy's Cove from Halifax looking for a place to stay,hopefully a B & B.We were most surprised when we arrived in the evening just before dusk to find with a pop. of 50.....there would be no place to stay.Was expecting a big resort area...everyone knows of Peggy's Cove.We travelled a few miles away and just as it was getting dark found a house in West Dover with a B & B sign in front.I hesitantly rang the doorbell due to the hour and was greeted with the first of what was amazing Nova Scotia hospitality.They welcome you like family.Freda introduced herself to us...then pointed to Lawrence on the couch watching his favorite TV show and then took us to our room....just like visiting family.
