Inopportune: Stage One

We had quite the cultural weekend. We saw two shows, "November" (with Nathan Lane), and "Legally Blonde The Musical." We also spent an afternoon at the Guggenheim. The museum was showing a retrospective of Cai Guo-Qiang's works, titled "I Want to Believe." This shot was taken from the ground floor, looking up into the Guggenheim's central atrium, at "Inopportune: Stage One". This work shows a progression of 9 cars in a simulated car bombing. The picture does not do it justice; watch this video to see them installing the work, and to see the lighting effects in action.
