There is a saying, “April showers bring May flowers.” Not the case for the first of May this year. The first pf May have brought wind, rain, snow and cold temperatures. While visiting a friend I braved the rain and cold to take a couple of shots of some tulips. I like how the petals on this tulip seem to be wrapping around its self as if it were a blanket trying to keep warm and dry. We expect to see rain this time of year but not the snow and cold. Where is Spring?
