There is a famous fly on Kiritimati called a "Chili pepper". It was designed, by Moana Kofe a
famous Kiritimati guide, to look like a red clawed crab which is found on the flats there.
Kuritaro found a large male crab to show me. Apparently bonefish love to eat the juvenile
crabs of which there are plenty.
