Incredible sharpness. Hand-held at 200mm no less. Must have some amazing steady hands. Yes, I'm envious.

Beautiful composition and so very sharp! Excellent Shirley!

Thank you Geo, Richard and Miro. :o) You know Miro, sometimes I do get ugly bokeh from this lens, I'm sure it depends on the settings of the lens. I've had some shots with a lot of bare branches or grass stems that come out looking bad. I usually get very good results when I've zoomed in for close ups like this.

lol Thanks Carlo! I really do like that lens. If I hold still enough it can really get good sharp shots. I finally have a good tripod, trouble is I just hate using them. I have to try and work with it more often. Thank you Twice! :o)

Shirley,
I'll bet you thought "that was it" on my "nice shot" comment. But really this is just crystal clear. the detail you'd expect of a close up image. Very well done...

Shirley, that 50-200 is really made for you and some people says it has a bad BOKEH. Beautiful picture.

Beautiful. The lighting is great and it is nicely separated from the background.

The middle range is sharp and unencumbered by any jumbled back ground. It is very nice. I like the back ground lighting too.
