These slab-built pieces were among the most successful of the salt fired work. The central, patterned portion is
an incised decoration filled with blue slip prior to bisque firing. The top and bottom sections were dipped in flashing
slip; the surface in the central section is purely from the salt. The interior and the rim had glaze applied.
Fired size: approximately 2.3 inches (5.8 cm) diameter by 3.0 inches (7.6 cm) tall.
