This young member of the Druid pack is on its way to the den site, returning from a kill. The yearling is taking food to the alpha female that is in the den with the pups. At the den site, the yearling will regurgitate its share of the kill. In order to get to the den site, it had to cross this creek, and the road. It is important that the animal is not blocked (by photo-eager tourists, for instance!) because after some time the digesting of the food sets in, and the food expedition fails.
