Self Portrait (transferred and handcolored)

I used Sheer Heaven and alcohol to transfer a flipped image onto Arches watercolor paper. This was the smoothest paper I tried and if you want a REALLY detailed and complete transfer this seemed to work best. Supposedly you can use pastels on the Sheer Heaven before transferring and it will work too. I used Conte pastels on the lips of the art work. It sort of worked. I ended up coloring the eyes and lips and my lips after the transfer. I lowered the saturation of the scanned image as my scanner seems to saturate more than the real images. I added a border.

This is the final assignment for this class.

Ahhhhhh ! I love this!
Especially that you are in it and also love the added color on the bnw, that gold strip at the top right corner, prefect touch.
