A single Bufflehead male was seen swimming and diving on the southeast side of the Walden, CO. reservoir. This is the first closeup picture I have gotten of a Bufflehead and didn't realize the irridized colors on head and buff patterning on sides. At first we thought it was a very dirty specimen.
