I took a ride this morning on my bicycle. I really enjoy being
on my bike and taking time to get off and capture images that
have impressed me while on my ride. I think it comes through.
Sometimes there are surprises. This shot, for instance, I was
attracted to the flowers and color of the lawn. So I laid down
on the lawn and shot at "lawn level" but what the surprise was,
was later, as I processed the image, I discovered how perfectly
the color and composition of the house emphasized the lawn and
flowers. I love this feeling. It is like a connection. Like a
purpose has been fulfilled.
