Thank you for explicating my photo for me, Lydia! I hate trying to justify my photos...I figure they should speak for themselves. Now I'll just hope that Nico accepts your explanation.

In my humble opinion, it's clear that the most saturated of the artwork is in the foreground, the looker is of course in the middle, and the most white part is the background. Genius. *grin* ~Lydia

Not just in terms of the story it tells and emotions it conveys, but also technically, I like what you've done here: the bright white background forming such a nice backdrop for the main subject. Well done.

Layeredness? I am perhaps not 100% persuaded... yet... so perhaps I should invite you to let me know how you interpreted the pic in terms of fore/middle/backgrounds?

Something about this speaks to me, Mary Anne. Perhaps the charm of the woman... or the whole scene. Whatever it is... I really like it. A good image that makes me wonder at the story. ~Lydia
