The tail-feather fourth in from the left and just out from the central pair (R2) is conspicuously notched. By contrast, R2 in the similar Allen's is spear-shaped (lanceolate), as seen here: http://www.pbase.com/image/95431056 . This distinction holds in females of the two species, which are otherwise indistinguishable in the field.
