This was my painting before I took it into Photoshop Elements. As you can see that tree really needed help among other things. I used Sumi brush varients for the blooms and tree. I think only because it made me think of China painting. Pastel Varients were used for sky. water and ground. Wetting the watercolor paper gave the look of texture.
