Red-naped Sapsucker, female?

The bird was tending an extensive network of wells on this sycamore, the lower few of which are visible in this photo. This suggests that it has overwintered here -- unless it inherited wells from a recently migrated Red-breasted Sapsucker, a possibility mentioned by Mike Rogers.
