Vacations Rock

I wish I could explain this to you.
It seems to have defied words.
I just feel great.
Sure, last week I was
feeling pretty good.
This week however,
since the divorce went final,
I just feel amazing.
I know part of it is just
the euphoria of it being over.
But there seems to be more to it.
I feel reattached again.
Like a bad dream just ended,
and I awoke to see the real world.
I swear it was not the stripper
banging her titties off my face
that woke me up (well, maybe it helped a little).
Heck, it was Myrtle Beach,
did you think I was going to church?

As for this picture,
there I am on a wonderful course
wearing my red Tiger Sunday colors
with my left heal up
and my left arm bent
and my right wrist cupped
and shifted all wrong
looking like I am about to hit a wicked slice.

And boy did I slice it.
