While this does have a rather "altered" look, not that much was really done to it. It was more of a combined set of circumstances. A full moon came up within about 10 minutes of the sunset and much of the valley floor was still let when the image was taken. It is a combination of two captures, but not really that far off what I remember seeing.
As far as the image goes, I don't think the size on the web quite gives it the same impact that it does at a printable size. I'm still not quite sure what to make of it as it is a little odd looking. I might have to revisit it later.
