The beautiful gown seems to be luxuriating on the fine white couch. She may be too comfortable to get up for the party. Perhaps the party goers can come to visit her here, instead?
I don't know which I like more, the sweeping yellow swath that travels across the frame, or the apparent curves suggesting two legs on the center right. It makes a wonderful illusion.
