Hover Fly on a Bulbous Buttercup

Church Point, La

I took a day off from working on my barn to roam the back yard with my "new" (had it for two months now) 180 macro.
I noticed this fly buzzing a flower and was able to capture this image. The flower is about 3/4 of an inch in width.

Bulbous Buttercup (Ranunculus bulbosus)

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM
1/200s f/11.0 at 252.0mm iso400 full exif

Excellent macro and the sharpness and detail of the fly is top notch. Just enough reflected sunlight on the wings. V.
