On Thursday, the conditions on the beaches were still too cloudy for good photography, but I finally got a chance to get a decent underwater shot or two by renting a kayak and exploring the mangrove lagoon at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Various colored sponges were clustered on the underwater mangrove roots.
