I took this photo only 20 seconds after the last one! So apparently this was from the same viewpoint.

I remember crossing patches of snow and mud as I caught up to a couple of ladies a bit before the 1.5 rest stop. I found out later that they had started an hour earlier than me, and one had never hiked before. We were wondering what happened to them when they appeared at the 5pm steak dinner!
