The Kerria is definitely one of my favorite massing shrubs. The pleniflora bloom is so rich and bold against the green stems.

I think this is kerria - is it? There's something about this picture that reminds me of my childhood and I hope you don't mind but I have downloaded it and will make it into a bookmark for myself. It's a beautiful picture.
