Tiny ornamental jug

Stands only 7-cms tall & about the same wide (including the handle)
On the bottom of it is the stamp saying
~ Allertons Longton? England ~
I can't quite read the middle word, its slightly damaged.
(A knick knack from Dick's mother's collection)

other sizes: small medium original auto

Longton, Staffordshire is my home town! My mother used to be able to pick up a piece of Staffordshire crockery and be able to say which town and which street the factory was in!

I'm sure we had some jugs in this style once.

This is a marvellous little jug! Absolutely charming! I found such link: CHARLES ALLERTON & Sons : Longton, 1859-1942, earthenware and china, lustre decoration, etc.

Lovely image. My Aunty used to live in Allerton Road Liverpool UK. I don't know if they had a factory nearby.
