Stanley Wells In His Jacksonville Store

Stanley Wells is an institution in Jacksonville. He runs a store there as his father, Walter Wells, did and he is a storehouse of history. His wife, Faye, cooks A MIGHTY GOOD HAMBURGER! Stop in!

Is this the store that is at the 4 way stop near the old post office? If so are you related to Frank Wells? George Wells?. I use to visit Jacksonville back in the early 50's I was from up north would come down every summer to spend time with my Uncle on his farm. I have some many fond memories about Jacksonville, I was there back in 2002 and saw that there was a traffic light at the 4 way stop now. I'm looking for a family bible that was at the old home house which was located on Rt 1 furniture and items were sold several years ago from the old home house. I'm looking for anyone who might know the where abouts of this bible. thank you for any information you can give me.
