Very nice one and I only have to agree with others here. Some temperature during preparation should fit My taste;-)

Very nicely done, the lighting looks good to me so I'm not sure I agree with Marc in this case, but then again I am no expert.
One thing though, I get a slight shudder when I look at this, all down to a traumatic experience with Pizza served with a raw egg plonked on top (they do this in europe - uggh!)

Very good lighting, but i would have preferred to see to see the light source even lower. A good try though !

perfect light. I think if you had lit it "normal" it would have been a very boring picture- this has got the element of suspense, or story. Like "something" is going to be happening soon.

Thanks for all your comments. I think my original title was a bit harsh, so I've softened it (the title) up some. - Adam

Gotta have toast with that egg. I'm also smelling bacon. gotta have that too. Excellent tones and the single light source is very defined. Very good focus throughout the image and now i'm hungry. I love eggs raw, scrambled, boiled, omelets...anyone. Nice composition.

Good choice Adam.
The sprinkled salt and pepper complements the image.

I only see one Egg! My own mornings are more like: stumble around, can't focus, break the yolk, you get the idea. The lighting and exposure are great - early morning, no coffee, ready to start the day, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. The sharpness of the salt and pepper sprinkled on the yolk really makes this shot for me.
