Bonsall Brook, by Alistair

Bonsall Brook runs under the road just in front of my house, and continues down the hill to Cromford, where Richard Arkwright used the power for his mills which ushered in the Industrial Revolution.

What a beautiful scene! Lovely highlights on the curtain in the back ground. It is such a pleasantly peaceful and serene mood emanating from this.

I don't always like really long exposure waterfall shots, but in this case it suits the compostion and lighting really well. Wonderful shot. - Colin
