The "top" of Telluride, you can see some hiking further up for the narly runs, the left side it out of bounds. 5 inches of new snow each day! Expensive town, and $80 dollar lift tickets. My cheap room was $150 a nite. I skied all day except for a short walk to my rental (2 blocks!) and changed to back country ski and a quick bite.

The next day I would do a quick cross country ski at the pass between Telluride and Cortez, then took a tour of Mesa Verda. I had 3 days to get to the Grand Canyon.
