my old girl "Heidi Ho" who's about 17 or 18 yrs. old
(was already named Heidi when I got her at 2 yrs. old),
is the most lovable cat I've ever seen with Deb and I,
but hisses at anyone else who dares to mess with her, hehe.
Still can run fast and jump up on bathroom lab with ease.

She is moving a little slower now
and no longer can jump up on counter in bathroom,
but still getting along pretty well for a 19-20 yr. old.

Heidi is sitting in my lap as I type this, content and happy as she can be.
It's been a tough year for her, she had a stroke due to high blood pressure,
I found her face down and thought I had lost her.
The high blood pressure caused temporary blindness
until we got her blood pressure under control, but seeing fine now.
I give her blood pressure medicine twice a day and she is doing a lot better.
She still jumps up on beds and chairs and walks pretty good albeit a little gingerly.
Not too bad for a 22 year old, she's a special girl.

I set Heidi free today, which I probably should have done weeks, maybe months ago.
She really struggled for the last few months, and it was hard to watch,
I was hoping she would go naturally, but after the last few days
I could tell she wanted to go away, and I cooperated.
