Walt...this is fantastic! You nailed everything from the exposure, focus, comp (love the curvature of the branches, which makes for a very pleasing composition)....and you got him at the best angle...little catchlight in the eye...it ROCKS!!! The only way I can get this close, is if I climb up a tree...or use my special G.I. Kim crawl maneuver across the grass. Just as I go to press the shutter release...little birdie flies off! That's usually my sad story! LOL.
