This mid-sized bird was a little difficult at first because it did not fit its habit
nor habitat descriptions as it flopped around in this tree taking fruit. It is considered
a nocturnal species, most often preferring caves, for its diurnal roost site. Although it
was misting, the bird was active during the day well within the town of Mindo.
