Whilst trekking in the German alps in January '07, the sun was setting with still an hour or twos climb up to our bunk house. I was quite pleased with being able to capture this very contrasty scene - 4 stops difference over the graduated neutral density filters to be able to hold the sky.

The following morning this entire scene was under snow....
