my "Winter Woman Storyteller" gallery is up

CLICK HERE to see my "Winter Woman Storyteller" gallery, the latest in my series of Winter Nudes galleries. There are now nine galleries in that portfolio.

I generally invite my models to bring any scarves or objects with which they might want to be photographed. In response to my invitation, one of the women brought a Native American Pueblo Storytelling doll with her. When she showed it to me, she said, "I am a storyteller." That was all I needed to hear. The doll instantly became a featured part of her posing session.

I like the way you've left the nude figure in monochrome and the doll figure in color.

This is peaceful to me, a tribute to simple acceptation...
You are getting better by the frame Patricia (i mean...with each new picture you share with us...you achieve so much...each time!)

Beautiful composition. I am often amazed at how much impact a relatively small thing (like the doll) can have on the overall image. V.

Very artistic work Patricia. Nice light and tonal range too. Vote.

I agree with Ted Chappell. Came back three times - three different emotions. I find the image-story here very compelling, and moving. Technically, Patricia, I 'doffs me cap'. The pose, color, light and composition present a wonderful conglomerate and a memorable picture. ~V~

I keep being drawn back and back to this haunting image..........There is a spirituality, intense sensuality and eroticism that is hard to describle but impossible to ignore..........
To me it is sightly disturbing as for some odd reason I try to categorise it.............Why do I do that? Obviously that is impossible as each time I study it I get a different reaction................Perhaps I should just accept it as it is, 'beautifullly captured reality'
