Exquisite lighting, form and composition. And the snow could almost be taken for desert sand, given the origin of the vase. I think this is a remarkable shot, Shirley ... the inherent beauty of the glass really shines here. Brenda

Way to work the lighting Shirley! I like how the colors change as you move to the edges and the design almost looks like flames the way it dances up the glass. A nice presentation! brent

Thank you guys, for the nice comments. My neighbors may think I'm nuts already so I went to another area to let them know too! LOL You know indoors this vase is pink and when I saw the sun turned it golden and dark pink, totally different then it looked indoors, I just had to photograph it and the sun was going down and it just was lucky. It's like the pink ice stones for jewelry. I'm glad you like the snow.

Now what will your neighbours think when they see you out in the snow taking pictures of a vase :-) Really nice natural lighting lends a twist to something that is usually photographed indoors.
