Heidi and I go way back to my Motorola days. I met Heidi right after I transferred to the accessories division in about 1996-97, if I remember right. The days leading up to that were such a blur, as there was so much overtime in the handset division that it seemed like we never saw daylight. Well, come the end of 1995, there was a huge slowdown in handset sales, so a bunch of us were better utilized in other parts of the factory. Heidi and I were teamed up with 2 other people to build microphones for Ford. Their microphones were very different from our usually visor clip style, and so they tried to keep the same 4-5 people working on them most of the time.
Heidi stayed on with Motorola for about another 2 years after I left in 1999, and we've stayed in touch throughout the years. Tonight, I was trying to help her resurrect an old Windows 98 desktop so that she has access to the internet. The cable installer is going to try and get her connected tomorrow. I hope he is able to do something with that relic.
Anyways, she's been asking me for some time to do some portraits of her the next time we saw each other. Here are a couple of the others that I took tonight.

Shot using my 580ex flash connected to the off camera cord and fired into a white shoot thru umbrella at camera left. I have her sitting in a chair with a white wall about 4ft behind her, and another white wall about 2ft from her at camera right.
