This little guy is one of a flock that regularly visits my feeders.
He had been showing signs of being in poor health and only lasted
another day after this photo was taken.
The bizarre ending to the story is that before I had a chance to bury him,
a squirrel came across the body and ate it. I never knew that
squirrels could be carnivorous!
