Three Generations

London, England

I'm not a patriotic type, but I am intrigued at how a small island like ours came to rule
one third of the world's surface, was the catalyst of the Industrial Revolution and still
seems to 'punch above it's weight' in world and financial affairs.

Much of this prosperity and influence eminates from the City of London.

I like this snapshot because it includes three key stages of our history: The Norman Tower;
A piece of Victorian engineering (Tower Bridge); and the futuristic Gherkin building.

From my London gallery.
