I agree with both Phil and Carol. This is a very poignant image of holding on, of caring, of embracing a loved one. You're right, Tim, this image could be anywhere. That's what makes it so interesting. It is a universal image and it's this universality that captures your imagination and creativity.

Phil is right. Also I see a real romantic aspect to this image with the overlapping fronds over the leaf as if they are holding a loved one.

It is a brilliant juxtaposition of the living and the dead and utterly Tim-esque. And you found it in Nanjing -- the caption says so. Why apologize for the concept -- it is wonderful?
