Spring must be close ... snow is going back to where it came from !!!

I used my external flash (Sunpac 383) in order to high light the falling snow. But it appears as though it is going UP. Might it be that the flash does not turn off as quickly as it turns on? That's my theory!

It's nice that dogs just naturally look confused so often...it fits right in with the up-falling snow.

There is good old Bob! I really like that "special effect" that was not meant to be like this.

Nope. I figured it out myself. The bright spot is the snow flake illuminated by the flash and the streak (tail) is what the flake looked like without the flash for the remainder of the 1/50 of a second. I could avoid the streaks by shooting at faster shutter speed.
