An eagle at the Illinois Waterway/Starved Rock in Utica, Illinois.
A great place to visit! I'd be there every day if I lived close...
It was very fascinating to watch the barges/boats/tugs go through the locks
and to see all the gulls, eagles and geese go for the fish.
My daughter joined me for the visit. It was a great day!!
Note: The ranger(s) informed us that as many as 130 eagles
have been spotted at the locks when the winter weather is extremely cold.

Great shot.. I know the area as I lived there once upon a time.. Its difficult to get exposure right with the white head and dark body.. Yours is perfect.. Good work.. V
