I took this leopard shot with a Canon 20 D and a Canon 100-400 L IS lens at 400. I do think you should get a longer lens for the trip. I just considered it part of the trip cost. Also, this is a cropped image, but still the larger image required the 400. We were in the Serengeti. You are in a treat! Hi Patty, my friends and I are planning a visit to Tanzania next year. We are amateurs. I have a Nikon D80 and my strongest zoom is a 210. I believe I need a greater one! Can you please share what you used for this great photo? Also, where was it taken? What size do you recommend I purchase? Thanks so much!
