Terek Sandpiper (Xenus cinereus) & Lesser Sandplover (Charadrius mongolus)

Two very desirable species for a Western Palearctic birder.

Sandplovers in non-breeding plumage are difficult to ID. When I took this image I gave the Sandplover a cursory glance labelling it as a Lesser. My main target at the time was the Terek! Looking at this image now the Sandplover seems to have fairly long tarsi, fairly pale legs & a reasonably bulky bill. At Sabaki & at Mida Creek most birds were clearly Greater or Lesser but not infrequently a bird of more dubious affinity would pop up!
Should I re-label this bird as a Greater Sandplover????
